San Diego

Ron Burgundy welcomes us to San Diego. For all you east coasters, canadians, midwesterners, and the geographically challenged, San Diego is about a bit more than an hour south of LA, 30 minutes from Tijuana. 1.3 million people, with a 16 percent Asian population. This is an ultra cool diverse Southern California city with a rich history spanning centuries. Attractions include Sea World, Legoland, beaches, upscale shopping, a healthy amount of bars/lounges, the Padres, and great food. I have spent a few days consuming unrealistic amounts of fish tacos, a mysterious thing called California burritos, standout sushi, really good fruit, craft beers, farm fresh produce, and some of the best salsa you could ever dream of. And yes, there are basketball courts. Very high quality basketball courts. A lot of options to play in. It’s just a matter of making sure we can rent them over the 4th of July timeframe and getting the dollars to make sense/cents (bad joke). But I’m busy doing a lot of number plugging and researching our sponsorship options to turn a dream situation into a reality. We would love to bring the ABCNA to Cali. We are working very hard to make that happen in an upcoming year. Much love from San Diego!
